Kadarius Toney: I am aware this dude's profile SCREAMS bust. I think the landing spot is being over-hyped. Has the traits to be an alpha, and I will be aggressively trying to get him on my rosters. Seems like a genuinely great guy, and I am really excited to root for him. Rashod Bateman: Bateman is my Najee of the WR group. Every year there is a smaller speedy WR that gets comped to Tyreek. Jaylen Waddle: Another dude who I am over the moon on. My only concern is he tested a little slower than I expected. I would love to have him at 1.06, but I think that would be a mistake when you can get him later.
I would have no problem with someone taking him over Najee. Every time I watch his tape I am grinning. I absolutely LOVE everything I see from this dude. Last year Dobbins wasn't my RB1, but he was my favorite RB. Javonte Williams: This is probably my favorite RB in the class. We know he is going to get bell-cow work. He is my 1A at RB mostly because of his immediate workload and landing spot. He is a genuinely great dude with a great sense of humor. Najee Harris: This dude is going to be my favorite player to root for in this draft class. I reluctantly have him at 4 because of the importance of QB in SF and if you need a QB it would be negligent to take him above the aforementioned QBs. Ja'Marr Chase: I wouldn't blink twice if someone took him at 2 and they weren't QB needy. I like the idea of him sitting a year behind Jimmy (or 4 games until Jimmy is hurt) and then coming into a friendly offense with great weapons. Trey Lance/Justin Fields: I could see either of these flipped, I just prefer Lance because of draft capital and landing spot. However, if I am a rebuilding team in really bad shape I may consider moving this pick for a combo of mid-round picks and then grab Lance/Wilson + Pitts + Waddle. After pick 7 I feel the players are less valuable. I am saying that I would be happy with any player in the top 7 picks. I am not saying TLaw and Zach Wilson are equal prospects.
